Lilisa J. Williams, a former victim of molestation, high school drop out and homelessness, overcame these and many obstacles before becoming the success story she is today.
 
Today, she is a successful business woman who is an inspiration to all aspiring entrepreneurs, students and motivational speakers.
 
Williams is the founder of Performance Strategies Unlimited, Inc. a training and performance improvement organization and Brand New Beginnings, A Word Empowerment Ministry, she also maintains positions as an adjunct professor of business at Essex County College, Union County College and Yeshiva College in New Jersey.
 
She’s an author, a PhD candidate, a motivational speaker and a radio and TV personality. Williams has also received the Dr. M. L. King Community Service Award. She was a speaker at Procter & Gamble Black Employee Group Empowerment Day 2006, Continental Airlines Black History Month Celebration 2006, as well as a panelist for the Horizons Black Alumni Career Panel held at Farleigh Dickerson University where she received her BA in Political Science and MBA in Human Resources.
 
Lilisa J. Williams, has trained employees, students and the unemployed on how to perform to their highest potential at work, home and in the community.
 
Williams has held the previous positions: Store Manager of Dress Barn, Inc., Associate Director of the College Bound Tech Program of Essex County College and Staffing Representative at Continental Airlines, Legal Secretary, Assistant Purchasing Rep. and Jet Mechanic for the US Navy.  
 
Lilisa has received the following awards: Community Service Award from First Baptist CDC; Who's Who Among College Students, Government & History Award and the Post Day Award from Union County College; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Community Service Award. Award from FSJ United Methodist Church, Houston Community College Career Day Award and she was given a special plaque from Procter & Gamble for a speech she delivered to their Black Employee Group.
 
Lilisa was inducted into the following societies: Phi Theta Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta and was nominated to the All American Academic Team of USA Today while a student at Union County College.  She was elected to the Regional Presidency of Phi Theta Kappa and served as the Regional Leader over 4 states, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
 
Lilisa has started several Toastmasters Clubs and is the current President of Speakers Grove in Maplewood, NJ.  She is also a graduate of Leadership Newark a two year Fellows Program.
 
She has been featured in several publications including Positive Community Magazine, The Black Star News and the Tri-County Journal. Williams also plans, coordinates and facilitates seminars, workshops and several annual conferences to empower people to exceed their ordinary potential in education, business and relationships.
 
Lilisa's book, Release Your Power, will be featured in the following magazines, WOW Magazine and InSpire Magazine.  Look for them in the upcoming months.  The Release Your Power TV Show will air in late May. It will be a talk show where dynamic people come to share the power that they are releasing in their businesses, home, community, ministry and the country.  The first guest on the show is the "King of Inspiration" (a term given to him by Lilisa - "Diva of Inspiration") Dr. Lee Jones, CEO & Executive Director of InSpire Magazine.
